This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a part-time job who is committed to the Bledington Community Shop and Café. The bookkeeper will assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance needs.
Salary: to be negotiated, depending on hours
Main duties: balance and maintain accurate ledgers and control account reconciliations; make and reconcile entries in the EPOS system and accounting package; with the Community Shop Manager match goods received with purchase orders and invoices; coordinate bank deposits, monitor expenses and enter cash receipts; process supplier invoices and track bank account balances.
Qualifications: the ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker. Excellent organisational skills and accuracy are very important, as is the ability to communicate clearly.
