Our shop and café is managed by Sarah Newton, our full-time manager, two part-time assistant managers and supported by a team of 40+ volunteers

Join the Volunteer Team
Your shop and cafe is for all of us - the wider the range of volunteers, the better.
No special skills or experience required. Older children and young people can volunteer. We've hosted Bronze, Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh volunteers and there is no maximum age.
If you have a disability we will do our best to adapt the work to accommodate your needs.
The most important role is to be friendly and helpful to visitors and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Day to day tasks could include:
- Working on the till
- Unpacking and receiving deliveries
- Stacking shelves
- Sharing ideas
- Labelling products and checking stock
- Cleaning
- Talking to customers
- Working in the cafe
